Zines

Since 2018 we have worked with people who have been excluded by the western art world – including newcomers, Indigenous youth, people living with disabilities, and elders – providing training toward each participant writing and illustrating a zine sharing a story or topic of their choosing.

We developed this project through partnerships with numerous organizations, including: Princeton University (USA), Basic Space (Dublin, Ireland), Broken Pencil Magazine (Toronto), Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, Saskatoon Public Library, Saskatoon Open Door Society, Global Gathering Place (Saskatoon), Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op (Saskatoon), Sherbrooke Community Centre (Saskatoon), SaskAbilities (Saskatoon), Stonebridge Crossing Retirement Community (Saskatoon), Saskatoon Tribal Council.
